Milder and sweeter than their white cousins, the red onions are slowly cooked down with black treacle, balsamic vinegar and a blend of spices into a rich marmalade-style chutney. It works particularly well with a sharp cheddar or creamy goats' cheese. While a dollop stirred in your beef gravy will be a revelation. Like all Cartwright & Butler chutneys and preserves it comes in a signature clip-lid jar, that is eminently practical as a re-useable airtight storage jar.

All orders are sent with our trusted delivery partner Royal Mail. Delivery is free for all UK orders over £50. Our Standard Delivery (2-5 working days) is £3.99. Express Delivery (1-2 working days) is £5.99. If you spend over £50 you can select express delivery at a reduced price of £3.99. We also offer free collection from store and free local delivery in Porthcawl (postal area CF36). Orders placed after 12pm on Friday will not be posted until the following Monday.

We only dispatch orders Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays).
